Transferring your number to Vodafone

If you’re joining Vodafone as a pay monthly customer
  1. Enter your existing mobile number and your PAC. You will be asked to do this once you have selected your phone and price plan.
  2. If you don’t know your PAC, you will need to contact your existing network or service provider, as we can’t transfer your number without it.
  3. When we receive your order we’ll email you with the date your existing number will be activated with Vodafone.
  4. On this date, turn on your new phone and you’ll be connected to Vodafone. Simple!

If you’re joining Vodafone as a pay as you talk customer

When you’ve bought your pay as you talk phone, call us on one of the following numbers and we’ll do the rest:

  • If you’ve bought your phone online, call us on 08080 945 945.
  • If you haven’t bought your phone online, call 191 from your mobile or 08700 700 191* from any other phone.

* Calls to this number will be charged at the National Rate

What’s a PAC?
  • Your PAC – Port Authorisation Code – is the code you need to transfer your mobile number to Vodafone.
  • To get your PAC, contact your existing service provider.
  • Your PAC is valid for 30 days but if you provide it when you order online this may help to speed up the transfer.
