3G Broadband Data Fair usage policy

The Vodafone Data Unlimited and Vodafone Data Travel price plans are subject to Vodafone's fair usage policy. This means that a customer's UK usage must not exceed 1Gb per user account in a month. We don't expect customers to go over this limit however if a customer's usage is in excess of this, we may ask them to moderate their usage. If a customer then fails to do so, we reserve the right to move them to another Vodafone Data price plan or to charge for all excess usage. Long-term or persistent usage in excess of the limit may also result in suspension or termination of the service.

Vodafone Free Weekends

Vodafone Free Weekends is available as an addition to the Anynet and Anytime price plans which customers can choose by calling or texting 2345 and following the relevant instructions.

Vodafone Free Weekends applies for any particular weekend period (that is between 00:00 on Saturday and 00:00 the following Monday) (a “Weekend Period”), where you have spent the required amount on your PAYT account in the previous Qualifying Period. We will count all amounts you spend using your PAYT account other than free minutes on Vodafone Stop The Clock calls and purchase of voice or text packs in calculating whether you have reached the relevant thresholds. The Qualifying Period in respect of any Weekend Period runs from 00:00 on the immediately preceding Monday to midnight on the Friday immediately before the Weekend Period. We start calculating afresh spend entitlements at the start of each Qualifying Period and do not carry forward amounts spent in a previous Qualifying Period.

Calls eligible for use with Vodafone Free Weekends include calls to other Vodafone mobiles in the UK, and standard landline calls (i.e. landlines with a geographic STD code) made within the United Kingdom (excluding Isle of Man and the Channel Islands) that commence during the relevant Weekend Period (“Eligible Calls”). You can also make up to 60mins of calls (in total) to mobiles on other UK networks during a Weekend Period. All other calls are excluded, e.g. calls to non-geographic numbers, such as 0845 numbers, premium rate numbers, voicemail calls and data calls.

A call that commences during a Qualifying Period and continues into a Weekend Period will not qualify as an Eligible Call. A call that starts during a Weekend Period and continues into the following Monday will be charged from the end of the Weekend Period at the standard price plan rate. An Eligible Call will be free of charge for the first 60 minutes. After this 60 minute period if a call is still in progress charging will recommence as per the standard price plan rate.

Only standard text messages sent within the United Kingdom to another UK mobile or landline (excluding Isle of Man and the Channel Islands) during the relevant Weekend Period are eligible for Vodafone Free Weekends.

If you make calls using a voice pack and/or send texts using a text pack during a Qualifying Period then, for the purposes of calculating your spend during such period, we will treat such calls and/or texts as made at your standard price plan rate rather than the discounted rate applicable to the pack.

We will not deduct Eligible Calls from your voice pack nor will we deduct Eligible Texts from your text pack.

Vodafone Free Weekends can be used in conjunction with Vodafone Stop The Clock and will take precedence so that the first three minutes of a call that would qualify under both offers would be free. Vodafone Free Weekends is not available with other offers or promotions, unless we say otherwise.

Vodafone Free Weekends may only be used for private non-commercial use and is not for resale, nor for non-voice services. All usage is subject to Vodafone’s fair use policy. If, in the reasonable opinion of Vodafone, your use is excessive, we may ask you to moderate your usage. If you then fail to do so, we reserve the right to charge you for the excessive element of your usage at your price plan's standard rate and/or remove you from Vodafone Free Weekends

If you want to change price plans

You can change from Anytime to Anynet (or vice versa) once in any 7-day period for free but you may not change to any other PAYT price plan. If you change more than once, you’ll be charged £2.50 each time.
