Two types of SIM - pay monthly and pay as you go

Our pay monthly SIM only plans give you the freedom of pay as you go, but with more UK minutes, standard UK texts and UK data for your money. You've also got the convenience of keeping your existing phone and number. Go for the 30-day plan, and you can cancel your agreement with just 30 days' notice.

Pop the pay as you go SIM into your existing phone and enjoy calls to standard UK landlines (starting 01, 02 and 03) and UK mobiles for only 21p a minute at any time. Unlocking your phone

You can find out if your phone is locked by popping in your SIM and looking at the screen. If it says "blocked", "barred" or "SP lock", that means its locked and you can't use your new SIM straight away.

To unlock your phone, call your current network provider or pop into your nearest Vodafone store. Your current network may charge you for unlocking your phone.

Bringing your mobile number to us

The great thing about our pay monthly SIM only plan is that you can keep your existing number. This means you don't need to update friends, family or colleagues with a new number - and you won't miss any important calls once you've switched over to our dependable network.

It's simple to bring your number to Vodafone:

Ask your current network provider for a Porting Authorisation Code (or PAC).

Enter your existing number and PAC at the checkout when you order your SIM from us.

We'll email you with a date when your existing number - the one you're bringing to our network - will be brought across.

Important note: a PAC is only valid for 30 days.
